<p>我在前文分別介紹了數款的 Auchentoshan，現在介紹的一款是最老的。</p>
<p>Auchentoshan Silver Oak 21 years, 1990, 700 ml, 51.5%</p>
<p>這是免稅店的限定版，一九九零年蒸餾，由陳年於 North American Bourbon 及 Spanish Oloroso casks 的原酒調合，第一版二十一年陳的於二零一二年推出，第二版二十二年陳的於二零一三年上市。我喝的這款是第一版。</p>
<p>氣味: 柑橘，香草，乾草，花蜜，麵包，奶油<br />
口味: 蜜糖，橙皮果醬，麵包，乾草，香草，牛油軟糖<br />
餘蘊: 中等長度，黑咖啡，木質單寧，曲奇餅<br />
結論:  氣味頗清新，濃郁但清香的花蜜，伴有乾草，塗上橙皮果醬的麵包香氣，還有點點的香草，很有清晨農家的感覺。酒體厚實，和氣味近似，蜜糖甜潤，也有乾草及果醬等的味道。餘蘊甘苦適度，偏向木質的味道。氣味濃郁得來不失清新，酒體厚實但不過重，餘蘊舒適，整體上結構出算複雜，尤其是以廿一年陳的酒來說，平衡甚佳，由氣味到餘蘊都是同一主體，清晨的農莊民宿早餐，正斗的。</p>

<p>I have introduced three different Auchentoshan whiskies in previous articles and now the turn to the oldest one.</p>
<p>Auchentoshan Silver Oak 21 years, 1990, 700 ml, 51.5%</p>
<p>This is a limited edition for duty free retailers. Blended from the whiskies distilled in 1990 and aged in North American Bourbon and Spanish Oloroso casks. The first release is aged 21 years old and launched in 2012 while the 22 years old second release launched in the following year. The sample I tasted is the first release.</p>
<p>Nose: Citrus, vanilla, hay, nectar, bread, cream<br />
Palate: Honey, marmalade, bread, hay, vanilla, butterscotch<br />
Aftertaste: Medium length, black coffee, woody tannins, cookies<br />
Comments: Rich notes, fresh and delicate nectar, accompanied hay, bread with marmalade spread and hints of vanilla, feeling the morning in farm。Rich body, tones similar to notes, sweet and smooth honey, also hay and jam. Comfortable aftertaste, trends to woody and toasty.Rich nose but still fresh, solid body but not overwhelming, comfortable aftertaste, good complexity to a 21 years old whisky, very good balance and consistence from nose to aftertaste, breakfast in farm, a very good whisky.</p>

<p>Fino Sherry cask 很面熟吧，現在很多人知道這種酒桶，應該要多得<a title="台灣噶瑪蘭威士忌" href="http://www.sippingmalt.com/2011/04/01/kavalan-concertmaster-port-cask-finish/" target="_blank">台灣金車噶瑪蘭</a>的 Kavalan Solist Fino Sherry Cask 威士忌，港人對台灣威士忌，可能比蘇格蘭低地的更熟識了吧。如讀者對 各種 Sherry 及噶瑪蘭 Fino cask 桶陳的威士忌有興趣，可參閱<a title="最貴的台灣噶瑪蘭威士忌 The Most Expensive Taiwan Kavalan Whisky" href="http://www.sippingmalt.com/2014/10/30/kavalan-fino-cs060814034/" target="_blank">&#8220;最貴的台灣噶瑪蘭威士忌</a>&#8220;一文，於此不重覆了。</p>
<p>喝喝這蘇格蘭低地的 Fino cask 威士忌怎麼樣吧。</p>
<p>氣味: 黃萁類的中藥，乾棗，蜜糖，酵母，拖肥<br />
口味: 多士，蜜炙中藥，乾棗，牛奶朱古力，啡糖<br />
餘蘊: 中等長度，黑朱古力，焦糖<br />
結論: 有一股帶甘甜的中藥氣味，沒有突兀感，隨後有乾棗及甜點的甜蜜香氣，一抹酵母的氣息，帶來點點特色。酒體厚實，仍然是那中藥加乾棗的味道，有加糖的咖啡，好喝的。中等長度的餘蘊，甘甜的黑朱古力，很不錯。這款酒著實很好喝，層次佳，平衡好，甘甜有致，亦有些特色但不會令人有違和感的味道，正斗之作。</p>

<p>I have previously shared the tasting notes of  two whiskies from Auchentoshan, namely <a title="蘇格蘭低地 Auchentoshan of Scottish Lowlands" href="http://www.sippingmalt.com/2015/06/15/auchentoshan-bordeaux-cask-matured-1999/" target="_blank">Bordeaux Cask Matured 1999</a> and <a title="威士忌大盜 Auchentoshan Valinch Whisky Thief" href="http://www.sippingmalt.com/2015/06/22/auchentoshan-valinch-2011-release/" target="_blank">Valinch 2011 Release</a> respectively. I am now introduced a rather special one.</p>
<p>Auchentoshan 1998/2010, European Oak Fino Sherry Barrels, 700 ml, 54.6%</p>
<p>Many Hong Kong whisky lovers now know about Fino Sherry cask. The popular of Taiwan Kavalan whisky in Hong Kong contributed the most. They may know well about Taiwanese whiskies more than those from traditional Scottish Lowlands. <p>Let&#8217;s taste this traditional Lowland whisky.</p>
<p>Nose: Chinese herb, dried date, honey, yeast, toffee<br />
Palate: Toast, honey baked Chinese herb, dried date, mike chocolate, brown sugar<br />
Aftertaste: Medium, dark chocolate, caramel<br />
Conclusion: The sweet Chinese herb did not bring odd favour under nose, followed by sweetness of dried fruit and candy, a touch of yeast seasoning the profile. Full body, still sweet herb plus dried date, sweeten coffee, good taste. Medium length aftertaste, balance sweet and bitter caramel and dark chocolate, pretty good. A very good whisky, layered, well balancing, rich in favour, some characteristics but harmony, a lovely lowland malt.</p>

<p>我在<a title="蘇格蘭低地 Auchentoshan of Scottish Lowlands" href="http://www.sippingmalt.com/2015/06/15/auchentoshan-bordeaux-cask-matured-1999/" target="_blank">前文</a>約略介紹過 Auchentoshan 這低地酒廠及其一款威士忌，低地這傳統產區，盛極而衰，現在有三間新酒廠加入，分別是 Ailsa Bay，Daftmill 和 Annandale。雖則一時未能回復以往的熱鬧，但按數學算式的展示，酒廠數量多了一倍，看上去也不錯吧。我現在介紹另一款的 Auchentoshan  威士忌吧。</p>
<p>Auchentoshan Valinch 2011 Release, 700 ml, 57.5%</p>
<p>這款酒據說是應"粉絲"要求，希望喝到原汁原味的 Auchentoshan，酒廠方面就將於 2008 年推出的入門版 Classic 配方以桶裝濃度裝瓶，造就出這款酒。酒名的 Valinch 是酒廠於酒桶取酒試酒用的管子工具名稱，這東西還有一個調皮的名字 &#8220;Whisky Thief"。</p>

<p>這款酒是 ex-Bourbon 陳年，是年青酒款。酒友給我的樣本是 2011 年第一版，隨後還有 2012 年的第二版。順帶一提，這款酒曾獲 World Whiskies Awards 2012 &#8211; Best Lowland No Age Statement。</p>
<p>氣味: 檸檬皮，冰糖，海綿蛋糕，乾花，香草<br />
口味: 檸檬皮果醬，乾花，紅茶，奶油，餅乾<br />
餘蘊: 中等長度，下了糖的黑咖啡，柑橘皮<br />
結論: 氣味清新爽脆，清香的檸檬皮，配上甜甜的鬆蛋糕，還有點點的乾花香氣，多一杯紅茶，就是一場下午茶了。酒體有力，有點刺激感，還是檸檬皮的調子，這回有紅茶了，終於有一頓甜點下午茶了。中等長度的餘蘊，加了黑咖啡，令這下午茶更豐富了。這款酒是我垂直品飲的第三款了，到目前為止，我覺得它們有一共同特點，就是終頭到尾其風味都很一致，好的是喝上去不會有違和感，但亦可說是有點單一，但綜合已言是很易喝亦討人歡喜。說回這款酒，飲得過的。</p>

<p>I have briefly introduced Auchentoshan and one of its whisky in the <a title="蘇格蘭低地 Auchentoshan of Scottish Lowlands" href="http://www.sippingmalt.com/2015/06/15/auchentoshan-bordeaux-cask-matured-1999/" target="_blank">previous article</a>. In Lowland, whisky production was used to a blooming industry but was declining over the decades and once left only three distilleries survived. There are now six distilleries operating in Lowland. The growth is double that the figures look good in mathematics expressions, despite of that the golden era might not be reviving in foreseeable future. I now introduce nex Auchentoshan whisky.</p>
<p>Auchentoshan Valinch 2011 Release, 700 ml, 57.5%</p>
<p>The creation of this whisky is responded to the voices from the fans of the distillery. They demanded for an original taste of Auchentoshan. The Auchentoshan Valinch is simply the cask strength version of Auchentoshan Classic which is an introductory class bottling introduced to  Auchentoshan standard series in 2008.</p>
<p>The name &#8220;Valinch" is in fact a tube for drawing sample from barrel for tasting. It has a nickname, &#8220;Whisky Thief", quite an interesting name.</p>

<p>This is a young refill-Bourbon aged whisky. This sample is from the first release 2011 and there is a subsequent release 2012. For information, it won World Whiskies Awards 2012 &#8211; Best Lowland No Age Statement.</p>
<p>Nose: Lemon zest, rock sugar, sponge cake, dried flower, vanilla<br />
Palate: Lemon peel jam, dried flower, red tea, cream, biscuit<br />
Aftertaste: Medium length, sweeten black coffee, citrus peel<br />
Conclusion: Crisp note, fresh lemon zest, paired with soft cake, decorated with dried flower, an afternoon tea if there is a cup of tea. Full body, a bit alcohol burnt, still tone of lemon peel but a cup of tea here, a full set afternoon tea.Medium length aftertaste, black coffee refill, make this afternoon tea rich. This is the third in this vertical tasting. I found they have a common characteristic which the favors are consistent from nose to throat. Good balance and appealing though feeling of little bit flat.</p>

<p>蘇格蘭低地 Lowland 現在只有三間麥芽威士忌酒廠營運 (還有三間新廠，但未有成品推出市場)，分別是 <a title="盛極而衰" href="http://www.sippingmalt.com/2012/07/16/glenkinchie-12-years/" target="_blank">Glenkinchie</a>，Bladnoch 和現在要介紹的 Auchentoshan。</p>
<p>Auchentoshan 於 1800 建立，之後例行多次轉手，直到 1969 年被 Eadie Cairns 買入後進行重建。Eadie Cairns 於 1984 年將酒廠賣給 Morrison Bowmore Distillery。五年後 1989 年日本三得利開始入股 Morrison Bowmore Distillery，又再五年後即 1994 年將公司全面收購，Auchentoshan 連同 Islay 的 Bowmore 這兩間蘇格蘭酒廠正式落入日本人手中了。在去年 2014 年，Suntory 和美帝酒業巨人 Beam 合併，成立了 Beam Suntory Inc.，至此蘇格蘭的 Auchentoshan 和 Bowmore，日本的山崎白洲加上嚮，與美國 Jim Beam 同是一家親。呀，不要忘了 Marker&#8217;s Mark，Teacher 先生威和 Laphroaig 這些家族成員。三得利果真非常厲害，包攬蘇日單一麥芽威士忌 single malt 和 調合威士忌 blended 與及美國波本，很全面的生意組合。</p>
<p>我可不懂做生意，很多時買貴了還要累街坊，我還是喝酒算了。</p>
<p>Auchentoshan Bordeaux Cask Matured, 700 ml, 58%</p>
<p>這是 Auchentoshan Distillery 的 Freedom of Expressions Limited Edition 的其中一款酒。這款酒於 1999 年蒸餾，陳年於列級三級酒莊 Chateau Lagrange 使用過的紅葡萄酒桶十一年，以桶裝濃度裝瓶。還有，這款酒獲 World Whiskies Awards 2012 &#8211; Best Lowland and Best Lowland 12 years and under。有些來頭的。</p>
<p>氣味: 加烈酒，黑槳果醬，拖肥，黑茶葉，香料<br />
口味: 加烈酒，黑加倫子果醬，牛奶朱古力，紅茶，香草類香料<br />
餘蘊: 中等長度，啡糖，咖啡渣，紅茶<br />
結論: 很香甜的加烈酒香氣，繼後是黑槳果醬，之後是拖肥的甜膩，最後有點點黑茶葉的甘醇。酒體厚實，很甜的甜酒果醬及糖果，未後有點紅茶中和。中等長度的餘蘊，還是甜甜的糖果加紅茶的組合。Chateau Lagrange 可不是甜酒，真的不知甜從何來(不是真的有糖的甜,是感覺上的甜)。這款酒從頭到尾的風格非常統一，稍甜膩，幸好有紅茶的甘醇味道平衡，好喝的，濃甜香醇，但對我來說是甜了點。</p>

<p>There are only three operating distilleries in Lowland of Scotland, namely Glenkinchie (in fact six but three of them no whiskies on open market yet)，Bladnoch and the actor of this article Auchentoshan.</p>
<p>Auchentoshan was established in 1800 and ownerships &#8220;eventually" changed for many times. Eadie Cairns bought Auchentoshan in 1969 and rebuilt it thereafter. He sold it to Morrison Bowmore Distillery in 1984. Since 1989 Suntory was starting to acquire shares of Morrison Bowmore and finally fully owned in 1994, that the two Scotch distilleries Auchentoshan and Bowmore are belonging to the Japanese. The story is going on. Last year 2014, Suntory merged with Beam, one of the biggest beverage leads in US, forming the Beam Suntory Inc. At this time, Auchentoshan and Bowmore of Scotland, Yamazaki Hakushu and Hikibi of Japan, in together with Jim Beam of US are now in the same family. Don&#8217;t forget Maker&#8217;s Mark, Teacher&#8217;s Highland Cream and Laphroaig these members. What a great portfolio which comprises of both single malts and blended whiskies of Scotland and Japan as well as US Bourbon.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s taste an Auchentoshan&#8217;s dram.</p>
<p>Auchentoshan 11 years, 1999, Bordeaux Cask Matured, 700 ml, 58%</p>
<p>This is a member of Auchentoshan Distillery’s Freedom of Expressions Limited Edition. Distilled in 1999, aged 11 years in wine casks previously held red wine of a Troisieme Cru Chateau Lagrange, bottled at cask strength. In additions, it won the World Whiskies Awards 2012 &#8211; Best Lowland and Best Lowland 12 years and under.</p>
<p>Notse: Fortified wines, berry jam, toffee, black tea, spicy<br />
Palate: Fortified wines, black current jam, mile chocolate, red tea, spicy<br />
Aftertaste: Medium length, brown sugar, coffee grounds, red tea<br />
Comment: Very sweet fortified wine, followed by sweet berry jam, and even sweet toffee, balanced by black tea at the end. Full body, still sweet jam and sweet wine, again balanced by tea bitterness. Medium length aftertaste, again candy plus tea and some toasted bitterness. As far as I knew and I did have tasted before, red wine from Chateau Lagrange is nothing dealing with sweetness and fortified. How come this dram so sweet? This is a good whisky however. Very consistent from nose to aftertaste, sweet but balanced by different kinds of tea, just not a cup of tea to me.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>前文"<a href="http://pomerol82.blogspot.hk/2012/07/blog-post_16.html">盛極而衰</a>&#8220;談論過低地威士忌的起落，由全盛期的四百多間蒸餾廠到今天的寥寥數間，對愛酒之人來說，真是不勝唏噓。小弟現在要介紹的一間低地蒸餾廠，她的消失，對不少愛酒人士來說，更是痛心疾首。大師 Jim Murray 在他的著作 Whisky Bible 中寫道 " But if there is a God will surely one day re-open."。這蒸餾廠，可算是最得愛酒之人傳誦的低地傳奇，Rosebank 1840-1993。</p>
<p>有說 Rosebank 最早於一七七三年已經開始營運，但按記錄，正式以 Rosebank 的名字於現有的廠房開業的，是始於一八四零年。Rosebank 開業後當然亦經歷過風風雨雨，但仍然能捱過數個威士忌業的艱難時期，在酒業巨人Distillers Company Limited (DCL) 的營運下，Rosebank 發展得不錯。Rosebank 的口碑一向很好，甚得飲家歡心，不少飲家奉 Rosebank 為低地威士忌的表表者。</p>
<p>很大程度上，蒸餾廠存在的目的是提供原酒作調合式威士忌的調配之用，要知道調合式威士忌佔了整個蘇格蘭威士忌市場的九成以上，瓶裝單一麥芽威士忌，對不少的蒸餾廠或酒業集團來說，可能只是副業而已。調合式威士忌可以由十多種到三四十種不同的麥芽威士忌調配，每種的成份基酒會按其不同的風格扮演其角色。</p>
<p>一九八六年 DCL 被 Guninness 收購，並於翌年重組為 United Distillers，DCL 名下的 Rosebank 及品牌 Johnnie Walker 亦同時轉入 United Distillers 的旗下。United Distillers 當年擁有兩間低地蒸餾廠，一間是前文介紹的 Glenkinchie，另外一間就是 Rosebank 了。由於 Rosebank 的污水處理未達當時的歐洲標準，需要斥資二百萬磅進行改善工程，United Distillers 的管理層認為代價太高昂，他們同時亦認為集團旗下只需一間低地酒廠便足夠了。一方面 Rosebank 需投資作改善工程，另一方面其低地傳統的三次蒸餾的生產成本比起和高地相近使用兩次蒸餾的 Glenkinchie 為高，United Distillers 最後選擇了貴為 Classic Malts 成員的 Glenkinchie，充滿低地風格及廣受飲家喜愛的 Rosebank 只好於一九九三年閉廠。Rosebank 在閉廠後，其廠房及倉庫相繼被售出，連蒸餾廠的命脈蒸餾器也於二零零八年的聖誕及翌年的新年期間被盜。Rosebank 廠房的原址現在已是一重建項目的所在地，包括了一新建的辦公大樓，部份保留下來的原建築物被改建為住宅及餐廳，Rosebank 要原址重開，可能真的要天神下凡顯露神蹟才有希望的了。</p>
<p>Rosebank 閉廠後還有不少的存酒，Diageo 不時會推出不同陳年的瓶裝。此外，獨立裝瓶廠的瓶裝亦偶見於市場上。無論如何，這些瓶裝的存貨將買少見少，正是飲一瓶少一瓶，況且 Rosebank 甚得飲家的歡心，Rosebank 的瓶裝可真是越來越珍貴。來一瓶獨立裝瓶廠的瓶裝，好好的欣賞這消失的玫瑰吧。</p>

<p>這款酒是由 Ian Macleod 裝瓶，屬於 Chieftain&#8217;s 的 Limit Edition 系列。雪莉桶陳二十年，記年，單桶，桶裝濃度，上佳的裝瓶規格。</p>
<p>氣味: 花蜜，麥芽糖，果仁，拖肥，乾果，乾草，香料<br />
口味: 蜜餞，乾棗，乾草，咖啡，多士，堅果殼<br />
餘蘊: 長，烤焦麵包，咖啡渣，香料<br />
結論: 氣味豐厚但不失清爽，像在酒店咖啡室前等候入座享用 High Tea 時溢出的下午茶甜點的香氣。酒體厚實，力量充沛，不失清脆，層次分明，上佳。餘蘊長而和順，合度。有低地的清脆，配合廿年陳賦予的複雜性，實在好喝。這麼受人喜愛的美麗玫瑰，卻只能隨著時日而慢慢消失。還要是她越受人喜愛，便消失得更快，這是多麼的令人矛盾啊!</p>

<p>盛極而衰，可以說是命運亦是定理，宏觀的如物種的興亡，民俗及朝代的興衰，至相對微觀的如企業的起落，也是逃不過這過程的。小弟想談的興衰，當然不會是甚麼大道理，小弟要說的，只是蘇格蘭的低地威士忌而已。</p>
<p>在一些十八世紀的記錄顯示蘇格蘭低地 Lowland 曾經有多達四百間的蒸餾廠，比起世界知名的高地 Highland，實在不遑多讓。但二百多年後的今天，就算算上三間近期於 2005 年至 2007 年才建立或重開的蒸餾廠，整個低地才只有六間蒸餾廠。低地貴為蘇格蘭威士忌四大產區之一，其近況也只比另一產區坎貝城 Campbeltown 好不了多少。</p>
<p>為甚麼低地的威士忌會盛極而垂？隨了天災人禍外，一般原因不外乎是有關經濟的起跌，口味變化及技術進步。在兩次的世界大戰及全球性經濟衰退下，不少酒廠，不要說低地，包括知名的高地酒廠也紛紛結業。一般的低地威士忌是進行三次銅壺蒸餾及並無採用泥煤煙燻麥芽的，其出品口味會較為清爽輕盈。經濟復甦後，不少飲家開始轉飲一些味道較複雜或厚重的威士忌，這是對低地威士忌不利的因素之一。最後，要知道不少麥芽威士忌蒸餾廠的存在目的是提供基酒給調合威士忌的調配之用。連續式穀物威士忌蒸餾器的出現，提供同樣是柔和輕清的原酒，但生產成本比傳統的麥芽威士忌蒸餾廠為低，你說低地威士忌蒸餾廠的命運會是如何的呢？</p>
<p>說實在的，對大眾消費者而言，有多少人知道低地及坎貝城威士忌的存在，就算聽說過，又有幾人喝過呢？對絕大部份消費者來說，高地威士忌幾近等同蘇格蘭威士忌。會懂得海島威士忌的飲家，已算是資深點的了。可幸隨著近年單一麥芽威士忌的再度興起，有不少經驗飲家也開始留意低地的威士忌，所以近年亦有投資復興及新建酒廠，這對威士忌飲家來說，是一件好事。</p>
<p>小弟現在要介紹的低地威士忌，是來自低地三間舊酒廠的其中一間，Glenkinchie。Glenkinchie 的創辦人 John &amp; George Rate 兄弟最先於 1825 年建立了一間名為 Milton 的蒸餾廠，是以 Glenkinchie 今天的擁有者 Diageo 聲稱 Glenkinchie 最先建於這年，蒸餾廠這工藝東西，歷史悠久點是好看點的。事實上 Glenkinchie 是於 1837 年才正式以這名字營運的，你喜歡這酒廠的那一個生日日期，悉隨專便。</p>
<p>Glenkinchie 並不算一間大規模的蒸餾廠，雖則其擁有蘇格蘭容量最大之一的 Wash Still，達三萬公升之巨，比一般酒廠的多了兩三倍。但酒廠除了這 Wash Still 外，亦只有另一隻 Spirit Still，年產量以純酒精計約為一百七十萬公升，中等規模的產量。</p>
<p>小弟現在要介紹的 Glenkinchie 十二年陳是 Daigeo 於 1988 年起列出的的 Six Classic Malts 中的低地代表，在 2005 年更新名單為 Classic Malts Selection 後，Glenkinchie 仍然名列於此。值得留意的是雖則低地傳統上是採用三次銅壺蒸餾工序，但 Glenkinchie 卻是使用二次蒸餾，和大部份的高地威士忌一樣。</p>

<p>氣味: 蜜糖，花香，乾草，青草，橙皮果醬<br />
口味: 蜜糖，咖啡，多士，蛋糕，丁點乾果<br />
餘蘊: 中等長度，咖啡，焦香多士<br />
結論: 氣味清新，令人有如置身於綠草如茵的花園中吃茶點的感覺。味道層次上不算豐富，但口味清脆，平衡度不錯。餘蘊一般，焦苦味稍重。雖則 Glenkinchie 和高地一樣採用二次蒸餾，但這仍是一款簡單清爽易飲的威士忌，這亦是低地作為基酒的重要特性之一。現實上大部份的蒸餾廠的存在目的是提供不同風格的基酒作調合威士忌之用，單一麥芽威士忌的瓶裝線，對好些蒸餾廠來說只是"副業"而已。</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>早前"猜猜我是誰"這有獎問答遊戲風靡強國，香港身為強國屬下的一個小漁村當然也不能倖免，不少人士，尤其是長者，也紛紛"中獎"，在經過中港兩地公安合力打擊下，近期這遊戲也沒有玩得那麼猖狂了。</p>
<p>不過小弟近月碰到了兩個"猜猜我是誰"的成員，耗掉了近六百港銀。</p>
<p>&#8220;甚麼？你沒有看警訊及正苦的宣傳片的嗎？"</p>
<p>有，當現有，宣傳片中的老人家還教我們要先和屋企人商量。不過小弟偏偏就沒有和屋企人商量，結果耗掉了近六百港銀。小弟也不是蓋的，小弟將他們的名字記下還拍下了他們的照片。以下是其中一個"猜猜我是誰"的成員的名字。</p>

<p>&#8220;甚麼？是威士忌？"</p>
<p>對，當然是威士忌了，難道你以為小弟真的會被騙嗎？</p>
<p>這是一款獨立裝瓶廠 Independent Bottler (IB) 的威士忌，不過不同於一般的 IB 威士忌其招紙上會提供原酒的蒸餾廠資料，這款 IB 威士忌是沒有標示原酒的蒸餾廠的名字的。有關獨立裝瓶廠的其他資料，請參閱"<a href="http://pomerol82.blogspot.com/2011/03/blog-post_09.html">獨立萬歲</a>&#8220;一文。</p>
<p>Dun Bheagan 是 Ian Macleod 名下的其中一個獨立裝瓶廠威士忌品牌，這款威士忌是屬於 Dun Bheagan 8 Years Regional Malts Collection 系列，這系列有六款威士忌，包括 Highland, Speyside, Island, Islay, Lowland 及 Pure Malt。全線產品不提供原酒的蒸餾廠資料，以 ABV 43% 裝瓶，並不作冷凝過濾，不錯的瓶裝規格。</p>
<p>這款 Lowland malt 在飲家圈中有不少人猜想其原酒的蒸餾廠，不過相比其他地區，Lowland 是比較容易猜中的，因為現存並還在營運的 Lowland 蒸餾廠只有三間，分別是 Auchentoshan, Glenkinchie 及 Bladnoch。那些停產或閉廠的存貨不計，為甚麼不計？當然了，那些存貨是很珍貴很搶手的，那會裝瓶賣你三百元不到的酒？。計現存並營運的蒸餾廠機會率為三份一，Bladnoch 於二千年才復產，入選機會不高，那麼只剩下 Auchentoshan 及 Glenkinchie 了。 Auchentoshan 是唯一真正採用三次銅壺蒸餾的酒廠，其風格應該和 Glenkinchie 有所差別。有不少品飲經驗豐的飲家，他們嚐過不少這些酒廠的出品，要猜中這是那間酒廠的出品，應該不算太難的。</p>
<p>來，開瓶一嚐這神秘的低地威士忌吧。</p>
<p>氣味: 清新，薑皮，花蜜，青草，海藻<br />
口味: 清爽，柔和，蜂蜜，蘋果，烤穀物，橡木<br />
餘蘊: 中等長度，烤燕麥，橡木<br />
結論: 氣味清新，口味爽脆，酒身柔順，氣味及味度上較簡單，不過輕鬆易飲，在夏天飲用尤其合時，令人有一杯接一杯喝下去的衝動，配合其廉宜的售價，飲得過。</p>
<p>小弟品飲經驗淺薄，低地威士忌只在品酒會上喝過一小杯 Auchentoshan 十二年陳標準版，基本談不上去參與猜測這款酒的真身。根據不少飲家的意見，這款酒的清新柔順有三次銅壺蒸餾原酒的風格，再對比兩間酒廠的相近陳年瓶裝，大多數的飲家結論為 Auchentoshan 的出品，好些國外酒商的銷售網站甚至直接指出這款酒的來源就是 Auchentoshan 的出品。是真是假？管他的，小弟只知這款酒價錢相宜又好喝就是了。</p>
