<p>時光飛逝, 轉瞬便踏入2015年, 異常懶惰的我終於打開電腦登入SippingMalt寫下2015的第一篇文章.</p>
<p>話說去年九月尾, 只是4個月前的事, 小女子作出第一次- 到巴黎專業的威士忌品飲會, WHISKY LIVE 2014. WHISKY LIVE是威士忌界的盛事, 每年都在世界各地舉行品飲會, 亞洲區的包括日本, 新加坡, 台灣, 中國(之前連續5年在上海, 2014停辦了, 2015會再繼續), 印度(2011/12舉辦過), 印尼雅加達(2015年3月底首次舉辦). 我們一行4人 (3男1女, 那個女當然是小女子)本來打算買VIP門票, 可惜大家都各有各忙, 到記得時星期六的VIP門票已於幾小時前售罄, 我們只好買普通的門票, 每人各節省了40大元(歐元). 我們在巴黎市吃過午飯便到達會場, 那時是大概下午二時 (EVENT是一時開始), 入口處排了接近一百人等待確實身份及放行李到衣帽間 (在外國是必須的, 只可帶小形手袋進場, 以提防盜竊).</p>
<p>而又話說小女子之前是打算用media的名義去登記入場, 但我傳了2次電郵及打了好幾次長途電話也沒人接, 念頭便立即打銷了. 但在排隊等候入場時, 我看到有media的booth, 便過去隨口一問他們會否有新聞稿給我看, 他們問我有否登記入場, 我便把沒人回覆的情況娓娓道來, 怎料他們不好意思的快要下跪, 說要給我補償- 送了我VIP的手帶可以入VIP區喝比較珍貴的酒款, 當然只限我一個人! 那天實在有幸福之神眷顧呢 ! (要重申是真人真事, 我是從頭到尾都打算用普通門票進入的, 但有VIP手帶沒理由不戴吧?!)</p>
<p>是次舉行WHISKY LIVE的地點在La Maison de la Mutualité, 是巴黎的一個會議中心, 我發現找不到有拍照的紀錄, 可能當時忘記了, 請自行Google一下! 這是入口的counter及&#8217;Passport&#8217;:</p>

<p>我們4人一進去便到5樓, 直指VIP房, 小女子先行到那VIP房看個究竟, 然後便身負重任,大方地服侍三位男士- 馬不停蹄的出出入入VIP區, 把自己可以拿到的好東西分甘同味, 每人小呷一口, 總比沒喝過的好~~ VIP的飲品大部分為高年份或高質數的IB, 又或是比較新出及罕有的原酒. 我們到達VIP時小輕已被曱甴一掃光了. 還有要講的是, 要逼進人群中(全男班)到BAR檯上十分困難的事, 因所有人都圍著BAR檯, 不肯退步, 最討厭的是那些傲慢的法國中年/老年男人就像貼紙/ 釘一樣, 把自己緊緊的貼在BAR檯旁, 有些人看不過眼幫我說話及取酒, 這是整個event最差的一環!</p>
<p>以下便是小女子有幸可以取到的小樣, 不要問我好不好, 因為第一我沒時間也沒空間寫tasting note, 而且只有15-20ml的容量給4個人分享, 有喝過已是榮幸!</p>

<p>當然還有各大威士忌廠的攤位, 就在3樓的Whisky Around The World, 那裡有蘇威, 日威, 亞太威 (當然有金車及印度神威), 瑞典威&#8230; 也飲了不少款, 但太多沒逐一拍照, 而最驚人的是我原來有喝到某大達人評為2014最佳的酒款, 實屬可喜! (可以說是好喝, 但並不是想像中般出奇的好, 至於物值&#8230; 唔&#8230; 請自行判斷~~)</p>

<p>P.S. One Day Pass 其實是完全不夠時間品飲, 如今年還有機會去不同的WHISKY LIVE, 真的是起碼要2天才行; 還有就是巴黎展不像新加坡展, 杯子不可帶走/ 買走, 這也是比較遺憾~~~</p>

<p>Port Charlotte 大家都知係艾雷島的出品 但又幾多人會知佢既真正來歷呢? 又係講故事時間喇~~~</p>
<p>原來Port Charlotte係位於艾雷島西岸， 距離Bruichladdich 西南二哩的一條村莊名， 而不是蒸餾廠名， 原名為Lochindaal Distillery， 於1829 年開始生產， 到1929年結業， 剛剛好一百年. 之後係2007年3月Bruichladdich就宣佈原本係Port Charlotte 村的Lochindaal 係2009年5月重開， 將Bruichladdich 加上重泥煤元素， 並以Port Charlotte 命名這系列的威士忌. 在去年秋天， Bruichladdich 宣佈會重建Port Charlotte Distillery， 到時會有Cafe， Tasting Room 及商店， 亦希望能嚮應環保， 當一家"綠色"的蒸餾廠. 而在Elements of Islay 中， Port Charlotte 代號為Pl.</p>

<p>氣味: 藥物，碘， 海鹽， 海風， 煙燻， 海草， 生蠔， 少許泥煤味， 及後有蜜糖，少許雲尼娜蛋糕<br />
味道: 乾果， 蜜糖， 煙燻， 煙灰， 少許碘及醫院味<br />
餘蘊: 中至長， 煙燻， 少許黑朱古力及煙灰<br />
結論: 閉目一聞一定知道此威水來自艾雷島， 好似我呢D醫院重症步兵一聞就深深愛上， 十分清香的海島， 生蠔及醫院香氣， 不得了! 此威水很有Ardbeg的影子， 不像LP重泥煤， 也不像LG那樣濃及甜， 十分輕身及舒服的感覺， 就像坐在一望無際的海邊吹著海風， 品嚐生蠔的感覺.</p>
<p>海島風情與煙燻味很平衡， 中間泛著淡淡的甜味， 過了十分鐘後再有Vanilla， 蜜糖味及果香， 同時亦帶出波本桶的特色. 餘蘊頗長， 煙灰味留在口腔中一段時間， 令人回味.</p>
<p>唯一要扣分就是酒精很濃烈很刺鼻， 而且飲用時在喉嚨中也有很強， 很辛的酒精感&#8230; 畢竟是酒精度65.9%， 而且也是一枝很新很年輕的威士忌， 可能是我才剛剛開封而有影響， 所以每啖只可很少很少的呷. 看看過多幾星期後再飲會否有相同的感覺， 否則也是一枝不錯之選。</p>

<p>我這些超級窮L，不像達人般有這麼多存貨，又或者有老友交換甚至相贈樣本，所以只可以用錢與其他酒友一起團購，好酒齊齊分享！</p>
<p>Karuizawa 輕井沢 30 years, 1981, C# 7925, 100 ml, 59.6% Sherry Butt</p>
<p>氣味：蜜餞，藍棗，焦糖，乾葡萄，黑咖啡，黑朱古力，橡木，初開瓶時有少許洗甲水，過了15-30分鐘後變作帶點火藥，少許焦油，皮革及肉桂<br />
口味：火藥，橡木，皮革，焦油，焦糖，乾棗，黑咖啡 (Espresso)<br />
餘蘊：悠長，火藥，焦油，炭灰，甘草，黑咖啡/朱古力，硫化物</p>
<p>結論：一開瓶把酒倒出來，有很濃烈的洗甲水味，之後我把酒放在一旁，等候15-30分鐘才開始品嚐。此酒香氣十分吸引，首先出來的有傳統用雪莉桶陳年的香甜，之後慢慢出現陳年的特徵，如黑咖啡，朱古力，木桶，再來就是火藥，焦油等氣味。酒體相當有力，踏實而融合，平衡而柔順，口味與氣味相約但我略覺氣味相對較吸引。雖然酒精度接近60%，但氣味及口感一點也不像這麼高。餘蘊十分悠長，最初的是火藥及焦油等味，過了2-3秒後會漸漸滲出有點苦澀的甘草味，黑咖啡或含95%可可以上的黑朱古力味，以及像硫磺的味道，根據達人之前輕井沢的tasting note，相信就是他描述的硫化物。酒的顏色比1980年的淺一點，但其特質是十分傳統，典型的輕井沢，與達人之前飲過的幾款都頗為相似，但這酒卻沒有196x/7x太老的感覺，是非常適合飲用的年份。</p>
<p>這酒無論氣味、口味或者餘蘊都不會一次過湧出來，而是循序漸進，像在訴說一個人生故事一樣，有變化與十分高的複雜度，有苦與甜，每每都不知道下秒發生或出來的會是甚麼。這是我第一次飲的小輕，它帶給我的感覺是十分震撼：就像一個經歷了很多，很有深度卻有著女人味，十分吸引人的一位中女，可是並不是人人都能駕馭得到，她就在等候一個懂得欣賞和了解自己的人吧!</p>
<p>我想我不用寫這酒應列入哪個評級，大家都心裡有數，而最後唯一要說的是: 「金翅xx鳥，被達人導了飲用這麼有深度的酒，很難回頭吧。。。」</p>

<div><span>Just by chance visiting one of the biggest whisky bar in Pori, western Finland. There are more than 300 selections of whiskies but unfortunately there&#8217;s no official whisky list. You can just select the whiskies on the shelves or table like this:</span></div>

<div><span><span>Guess it would take a century for customers to select their beloved- they even have Port Ellen there </span><span>(But I don&#8217;t dare to ask the price) </span><span>!!! Finally I have picked a Swedish made whisky that I would not have that many chances to try.</span></span></div>

<div><span><span>Mackmyra is a local Swedish distillery set up by 8 enthusiastic Swedish in 1999 but the crazy idea came when they were hiking together in 1998 and had brought along a single malt whisky to drink in the trip. They loved the whisky and wondered why there ware no Swedish made whiskies. After that the journey of their whisky life started&#8230; They have been quite successful even with a short history. In 2012, they have been honoured Distiller of the year by Wizards of Whisky and have won European Spirits Producer of the year awarded by IWSC.</span></span></div>

<div><span><span>Mackmyra has several product lines and &#8220;Special Edition" is their biggest so far. There are total of 10 limited editions of single malt whiskies releasing between 2008-2013 which bottled one time only. All the whiskies are matured &amp; saturated in different types of cask from 30-200L. The production is about 15,000 bottles per edition.</span></span></div>

<div>Aroma: vanilla, spongy cake, banana, dry papaya, a hint of fresh fig &amp; grass, candy, nail polish, almond<br />
Palate: a hint of oaky, vanilla, grass, nail polish, dry fruit<br />
Conclusion: Quite strong alcohol feeling when going into mouth n drinking, produce lots of heat and affects part of the palate. Smell and look a bit like bourbon cask.<br />
However as a Swedish whisky, quite a surprise as it&#8217;s not just with character of typical bourbon but with some fruitiness and sweetness. The reason is- it is actually not in bourbon but in cloudberry wine cask!!! Cloudberry is being the most appreciated berry in both Finland and Sweden and one of the most expensive species. They are not growing everywhere in the countries but just in very limited regions.</div>

<div>Simple but attractive, especially with the sweetness in both aroma &amp; palate. Quite pale in colour, kind of short length with medium-low intensity. To describe, it would be like a teen girl who is around 16 years old- trying to get matured but not yet the time, still keeping certain extent of cute and lovely character and have much room for further development. With tax selling at €70 for 700ml is kinda expensive.  Local stuff there are just expensive with their standard of living. Worth trying but not for more unless there are other editions to change my impression; bonus marks are given for only one-time-production&#8230; 飲得過之選</div>
